Almond Buckwheat Pizza


Recipe: Almond Buckwheat Pizza

Servings:   4-6    Prep Time: 
Notes: We really enjoyed this "pizza" with pesto and cheeze sauce!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups almond meal
1 1/2 cups buckwheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2-3 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (I used oregano, thyme, parsley)

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 flax eggs (2 tbsp ground flax + 6 tbsp water, mixed)
2-3 tbsp water, as needed
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients.
2. Add wet ingredients and mix until you can form a ball with your hands. 
3. Place dough onto an oiled baking sheet and pat out evenly, or use a rolling pin.
4. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15-17 minutes, or until golden along the edges.
