Recipe: Chicken Alfredo Sauce

Notes: This sauce is thick and garlicky. Garlic lovers, feel free to up the garlic. I love this with zucchini noodles and a decent amount of red pepper flakes.

Ingredients:
Blender: 1 cup cashews 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp ground mustard 1/8-1/4 tsp sea salt 2 cups chicken broth Pan: 4-6 garlic cloves, minced 1 lb chicken breast, sliced |
Instructions:
1. Add all the blender ingredients to a blender and blend until completely smooth.
2. Heat up a large saucepan, then add 1-2 tbsp olive oil. 3. When the oil is heated up (keep on medium heat), add garlic cloves and saute for 1-2 min. 4. Add chicken, then saute for 5-7 min. 5. Add blended sauce to the chicken, then mix and let cook for another 5-7 min. Add additional broth if sauce becomes too thick. |
