Recipe: Sauteed Greens
Tested: 7/16/13
Servings: About 6-8 Prep Time: 15-20 min
Notes: You can use whatever greens you have on hand for this recipe. I like to clean out my fridge and add other veggies too, such as carrots.

Ingredients:
1 tbsp. olive oil 1 onion, sliced (or minced, your option) 4-5 cloves of garlic, minced 1 bunch of greens salt to taste or use tamari (or coconut aminos, our new favorite!) |
Instructions:
1. Heat up the pan on medium high, then add oil. 2. Add onion and saute until soft, then add garlic and saute for 2-3 min. more. 3. Julienne the greens and add to the pan, stirring often. Or you can leave the lid on for faster cooking. Greens are done when slightly wilted or wilted if you like them less bitter. |
